Hi All! This is a sobering pre-birthday blog…now only 14 days away! I CANT BELIEVE IT! YESTERDAY I WAS 50! IN 2 WEEKS I WILL BE 70! 20 years went by with a snap of my finger. My wonderful hubby has been surprising me with earrings, a painting and flowers to get over the shock. I can't complain though...health is most important- we eat organic only ...at home, play tennis often, reduced speech schedule to part time private practice in home office & teletherapy. I just can't give it up- love it too much! I continue to create materials on TPT & Boom- it's my creative outlet! I love having time doing nothing and don't feel guilty. (I was a workaholic in my day!) I love living a simple life!
There have been an amazing changes in technology since I was in school. I had to type all my reports on a manual typewriter. I drove 45 minutes to the nearest college library to research topics. I bought many resource books to create my lessons (still have a bunch of them I don't use anymore.) Today I have an organized system of folders on my computer and print when needed. I love toys and games and wish I still had my school supply - specialty toy- book store (1985-2007.) I met awesome toy developers and authors. Is anyone else going through the fact that time seems to be speeding up??? How are you dealing with it?
