Intervention Approaches for Motor Speech Disorders & Apraxia
This handout includes several intervention approaches which are explained. This information was presented by Williams, McLeod, McCauley and Baker at the ASHA Convention 2021. ASHA Portal lists these approaches as well. I added my two cents on how I have utilized my favorite approaches. I do think out of the box though and follow my instincts. I don’t utilize 1 approach. An approach is only as good as how the speech therapist utilizes it with their students.
